While many mentees are looking for mentors who share their practice area and geographic location\, others may prioritize different areas of growth—such as wellness\, work/life balance\, professional development\, or shared affinity and interests. \nWhat’s required to participate? \nMentor training consists of a brief two-hour training over Zoom and will be offered in February\, March\, and May or June. This training is mandatory for mentors who have not yet attended the mentor training offered this fall or last year\, but we encourage all mentors to attend. \nEmployees who have at least two years employment at CPCS are eligible to be mentors except for those on performance improvement plans or subject to active disciplinary action. Experienced staff attorneys with at least three years of experience\, in non-management roles are preferred for this peer-based model. \n

This training is mandatory for mentors who have not yet attended the mentor training offered this fall or last year\, but we encourage all mentors to attend. \nEmployees who have at least two years employment at CPCS are eligible to be mentors except for those on performance improvement plans or subject to active disciplinary action. Experienced staff attorneys with at least three years of experience\, in non-management roles are preferred for this peer-based model. \n
