The goal is to prevent a child’s unnecessary removal from their home and the accompanying trauma that can result. The interdisciplinary Worcester FPP team will present on the work of the FPP\, referrals to the project\, and the ways in which the FPP can support the work of CAFL attorneys should a removal occur\, as well as following family reunification. \nFPP will explain the services it provides and the various ways they can assist CAFL attorneys to provide better services to our clients: e.g. providing the client record that FPP has accumulated when DCF files for custody; assisting parents after dismissal to close the clinical case. \nThis training is only by Zoom.
