Who we are:
We are public defenders who specialize in forensic sciences and expert witnesses. Our goal is to assist CPCS staff and bar advocates in dealing effectively not only with forensic science topics and issues, but also with expert witnesses for both the Commonwealth and the defense.
This can include assisting attorneys with finding applicable experts, researching forensic topics, compiling ideas for defenses, direct or cross examining witnesses, and maintaining numerous resources to assist our attorneys in performing their work.
We provide help and support to a multitude of criminal defense attorneys from all over the state. Public defenders are welcome to call, visit, or email us with forensics questions in almost any area you can think of where forensics plays a role in criminal cases.
