COVID BROWN BAG – Resumption of 12-Person Jury Trials

As you may have seen in the recent SJC order, effective May 1, 2021, there will be a resumption of 12-person jury trials. Many attorneys have reached out looking for information about what to expect as we step into this new world. We know that some of you have participated in in-person hearings and trials during the pandemic and have experiences to share. We are also looking for suggestions about motions in limine and other requests we can make to the court to best advocate for our clients if they choose to proceed with an in-person hearing or trials.
The training department is planning to share this information as part of a panel discussion on May 7, 2021 from 1-2 PM.
