In 2017 appellate courts issued decisions in 11 cases in which CPCS either submitted or signed on to an amicus brief. We had a remarkably successful year. We prevailed in about half of the cases in which the agency weighed in, with the decisions having a positive impact on our clients and others involved in the justice system.
