Q:  Can I use/request GoToMyPC?

Q:I don’t like how my work computer displays on my remoting-in device. Can I adjust this?

A:  Based on Agency policy, GoToMyPC is available to all. If you need and do not have GoToMyPC, please send a helpdesk request to [email protected] for installation.

A:  Yes. You can use GoToMyPC on your Macintosh.

A: You can’t print documents on a Macintosh with GoToMyPC.

A: No. Your GoToMyPC login password is separate from your Windows login password. So, it is not updated when you change your Windows password.

A: No. Your PC must be on and you must be logged in for GoToMyPC  to run. It can be locked, but you must have logged in to Windows before it locked.

A: Yes. You can access your PC with GoToMyPC as long as the PC is on. Even if you haven’t logged in after a reboot.

A: Yes. You can use GoToMyPC with your Android, iPhone, iPad. Just download the app from the respective app store.

A: Yes. If you don’t like how GTMP presents on your device, you change change this with this. When you use GTMP, in the menu bar at the top, there is a menu called “View”, which gives you some viewing options.  By default it is set for “Actual Size.” Depending on your screen or what you’d like to do “zoom to” or “scale to fit” may be the options to try.

A: Yes.  See the end of this blog post for instructions on how to improve performance on GTMP. However, if you have poor or crowded internet from your remote access point, that will usually be the largest issue.
